The Aston Martin Vulcan is arguably the most insane car the company has ever made.
Just 24 units of the track-only supercar were ever made, but is it rare enough that someone is willing to pay $1.1 million more than the original asking price of the already high $2.3 million? Cleveland Motorsports in North Olmsted, Ohio, is betting someone will, listing a Fiamma Red Aston Martin Vulcan for $3.4 million.
The mileage on the Vulcan is undisclosed, but considering it can’t be driven on the streets, it’s likely not very high. According to the listing, this is the first Aston Martin Vulcan to land in the U.S. and it has a 7.0-liter V12 engine with more than 800 horsepower.
This example appears to be the same one that we reported on in late November, when the dealership hosted an event called “Black Friday Vulcan Experience” on November 27 and 28. Cleveland Motorsports managed to take the Vulcan out for a short drive on the streets, with local police shutting down the roads so that the Vulcan could be driven.
The carbon fiber Vulcan has a power-to-weight ratio that bests GTE race cars that compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Top speed for the Vulcan is set at over 200 mph.
