The absence of plate numbers and driving at speeds up to 300 kilometers per hour (186 mph) made the Dubai Police punish these hooligans. Major-General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina said that the drivers thought the police would not be able to identify them in case if they remove their number plates. Some of these cars were driving without headlights switched on.
To release the confiscated vehicle, the driver or the owner should pay a certain amount of money: $13600 per motorcycle and $27000 per car. If case if they don't pay within three months, police can sell their vehicles. The Dubai Police has a huge number of high-powered cars, such as Ferrari FF, Lamborghini Aventador, Audi R8, Chevy Camaro, Mercedes SLS AMG, Bugatti Veyron and so on.
